Simple layout of the airport and good signing means that on arrival you can quickly make your way through the airport. Passport control leads into the baggage hall, which leads into custom and straight out almost onto the forecourt of the airport. The first time I arrived it took just 35 minutes from getting up out of my seat at the back of the plane to hitting the bed in my hotel some 15KM away (this is also a subtle warning about Czech taxi drivers and their love of the accelerator!)
Despite quite a queue to get through the checks were processed very quickly and efficiently
A cavernous baggage hall with lots of space, which given that the baggage was round at the same time as the passengers were coming through seamed a bit wasted.
A large customs hall with lots of members of staff standing around at 11pm doing nothing!
Buses from the outside of the terminal building take you to the end of the Metro line where you can pick up the metro into the city centre.

Again a simple layout makes checking in easy. Several bars/cafe's and shops in the check-in area. Passport check leads you into the duty free shop and on into the departures lounges. Ruzyne is the first airport I have seen that has the security check on the gate in so much as you can wait in an open area until you wish to board your plane at which point you pass through the metal detector into a glassed off waiting room at the top of the air bridge.
Couple of bar/cafe's on the land-side and a large food-court airside

The toilets are very clean and well maintained.
