An almost mirror image of the previous weeks journey, though if anything the journey through security and passport control was even quicker.

The train was available earlier so it meant that everyone was on board with a good 10 minutes to go before our departure time, but because of a late arriving train that had to cross our path to get into St Pancras we didn’t leave until just after we were supposed to.

Another smooth journey and because I had exactly the same seat as last week I knew exactly where the escalator up from the platform at Lille Europe was and was soon out of the station and walking over to the same hotel as the previous week.

A smooth checkin and straight up to my room, 104 instead of last weeks 105, and straight down to bed ready for an earlyish start the following morning.
