It was just over 50 minutes to get from Home to the Hotel, so I worked through until a late lunch and then headed down to Haywards Heath.

After grabbing some food from the Waitrose by the station I headed over to the hotel to check-in and continue working out of the hotel for the rest of the afternoon.

With work completed I headed out of the hotel for a little wander around the town, but Haywards Heath is very much a London commuter town, which only really started to develop after the coming of the railways, so there are no historic buildings, or even a town museum, so after a bit of a boring wander I found somewhere to have a quick dinner in and then headed back to the hotel for a nice early night in preparation for an early start and lots of walking the following day.
